Ronda Friend is a children’s author and master storyteller. She has captivated the hearts and minds of children and adults for over thirty years with her humor, charm, music, and childlike heart. She currently conducts over 125 Author Visits per year.

Ronda’s farm series, "Down On Friendly Acres" is based on her life growing up on Friendly Acres in the 50’s and 60’s. She’s older than Barbie! Ronda holds a B.A. degree in education . She was a storyteller for Scholastic Book Fairs for nine years and has written, produced, and directed dozens of children’s musicals. R. Friend is the founder of Sunflower Seeds Press—a children’s publishing company sowing seeds of kindness, patience, perseverance, laughter, and honesty into the lives of children. She has two grown children, Jeremy and Stephanie and lives with her husband, Bill, in Franklin, Tennnessee.
